Sanity in Ravenloft - Masque of the Red Death [Timothy S. Brannan (WebWarlock)]
Mental health is one of the most overlooked and ignored aspects of role-playing in general, especially when it comes to player characters, but The Complete Guide to Sanity for Fantasy Role-Playing Games did a lot to amend that. Now, sanity as an important character trait has been taken several steps further in this excellent work by Timothy S. Brannan. Although set in Ravenloft - Masque of the Red Death campaign setting, the theories and material herein can easily be applied to general campaign settings. It even has game stats for two of the late nineteenth-century's most notable personalities in the field, Sigmund Freud and William James. This is a thoroughly researched work, very well written, and a pleasure to read.

Tome of the Damned v2.0 - Enticement of the Dead [Brennan Brooks (The Dark Paladin)]
What can I say? Try this, "This grim work focuses on the weapons, religions, magical items, artifacts, spells, and monsters from the darker side of the AD&D game, all united in a common theme of darkness and evil." But even these enticing words seem feeble compared to what this tome has to offer. This is simply a magnificent work, exquisitely detailed and well written, this is definitely a must for the serious role player.
